What we see shapes our life. And it colours our world.
We believe that everyone deserves to see life clearly, which is why we encourage people to donate their old or unwanted glasses to our global eye care charity OneSight. For over 20 years Onesight has been improving the vision of those less fortunate around the world by sending recycled glasses overseas.
OneSight combines three regional programs - Give the Gift of Sight, Pearle Vision Foundation and Community I Care - into one, new, global organisation.
YOU can make a HUGE difference by recycling your pre-loved prescription eyewear.
By doing this you’re giving the gift of sight to a person in need in a developing country. With your help. we can supply our international missions the 1.2 million pairs of glasses they need every year to make sure there’s enough eyewear to go around.
Give a cash donation
Every $6,000 you help to raise helps us provide 400 people in remote areas of our own country with clear vision. Every $14,000 helps us provide 3,500 people in developing countries with eye exams and recycled eyewear.
Here’s an example of how your cash donation makes a difference:
- $1 recycles a pair of glasses for someone who needs them.
- $5 helps a child receive a free eye exam.
- $10 hand delivers recycled glasses internationally.
