Standard Eye Test

  • What is a Standard Eye Test?

    Our optometrists will look to get a deeper understanding of not just your eyesight, but your eye health.

    Over the course of the test we will:

    • Assess your day-to-day vision by asking you to perform a series of exercises at various distances
    • For an extra fee we can look deeper into your health using our range of technology to get an internal view of your eye (what you can't see)
    • Advise you on eyewear options like glasses, prescription sunglasses and contact lenses based on your lifestyle needs

  • When should you go for a Standard Eye Test?

    We recommend you have this test every two years – even if you’re not experiencing difficulty seeing. That’s because we like to look deeper to see the things your eye can’t see, including any potential health issues.

    In some cases, we’ll suggest you come and see us more frequently. This may be based on factors like family history, your age or the existing health of your eyes.
